It was a Christmas of games! The Monday morning before Christmas we headed down to Auburn for Christmas Part 1. As soon as everyone was home from work and such, we busted open a present or two :) Mainly because we knew they were games, and we were getting a lot of games, and we wanted to make sure we had time to play them all (which we didn't, even with opening some early).

So that first night, we played 1 of 5 games included in the Stonehenge games, as well as a fun new cooperative game called Room 25. That night we also went and saw The Hobbit with some of Katelyn's friends.
Tuesday we went for a walk along the White River. Gromit had a great time since our walk ended at the dog park with a very squishy squeaky ball :)

That evening we busted out another new game, Resistance Avalon, as well as an old favorite, Shadows Over Camelot. Wednesday, Christmas Eve, we we went out to lunch at Indochine, and more games (Splendor, Holiday Fluxx, and another Stonehenge.)
Finally it was Christmas! All in all, with expansions and new games combined, we ended up getting 20 games between the 5 of us! Yikes! So between Thursday and Friday, we played Ticket to Ride Africa, Pirate's Cove, Agricola, Love Letters, and the DC Deck Building Game.
Friday, it was time to head home, briefly, for less than 24 hours, just in time to preach the Christmas sermon, before hitting the road for Eugene :)
We got there around 8, had pizza (thanks Andy!) and then couldn't wait any longer so we opened presents! More games! 14 more, bringing the grand total up to 34. Wow. During our time there, we played Room 25, Roborally, Pandemic + Expansion, Agricola, Biblios, and a new one, Cavum. Rest of family was crazy enough to stay up till 3 watching Polar Express. Jon and I went to bed :)

Sunday we had a delicious Christmas dinner with help from everyone, and the Seahawks won. Good day :) Wednesday we went out for some awesome gift card New Year's Eve shopping, and headed back Thursday on New Year's Day while listening to the Ducks have a big win. Besides the games, we had an awesome Christmas, including an awesome new Sleep Number bed, some new exercise gear (yea for Bosu!) and much more. We also inherited 2 kindles after Kenneth, Andy, and Mom upgraded each other's, so that was a nice little bonus :) All in all it was a great Christmas!
