A couple of weeks ago, Terry flew out for an early Christmas! He arrived late Wednesday night, luckily with clear roads, but then Thursday morning we woke up to snow! We had planned to have Christmas on Friday, but since we had snow, we decided to do it on Thursday! We were all very good to each other and had many wonderful gifts to open, even Gromit :) He got a couple new toys and some treats, which he was very excited about! That night we went out to dinner at a place we'd been wanting to try for a while, Tim's Too. Odd name, but great place! Similar to Mongolian BBQ. Afterwards we stopped by downtown Berrien briefly to see the ice sculptures, which were pretty good! The next day we busted out the new games. Sabbath we went to church, had Christmas dinner, and out for a snowy hike, which the dogs loved, and then out for Terry's present from Katelyn, an escape room! It was even Christmas themed! We did super well, until we didn't, haha. The guy running it even told us we were on pace to set a record, big mistake. As soon as he said that we got stuck on the last puzzle. We were so determined to do it without hints but wasted like 15 minutes and finally had to have a hint after all and then kicked ourselves for not figuring it out sooner. Ah well, we still did super well with only 1 hint and like 8 minutes to spare. While we were escaping, the snow
really came down! The roads got super slick, but we made it to Fire and Ice for celebratory pizza and then home. Sunday was more games (including the football game, but we won't talk about that *sad face*)! Over the course of four and a half days, we fit in 16 games! They were all super fun played with awesome people. Thanks for coming out Terry!
