| Erwin Christmas Tree |
Christmas was a whirlwind week as per usual for these Campbells. However, our third Christmas together as a married couple was spent traveling via a 5 hour car ride rather than a 12 hour plane ride, so, that's a plus! The dogs were interesting and challenging to negotiate relations with, and the cat is probably still scared, but we managed. We drove down to Salem on the 22nd and left for Auburn on the 26th, and the only day Kenneth could get off was the 23rd. So we had Erwin Christmas on the 23rd and Campbell Christmas on the 27th. Christmas day we tried to see Les Mis, but after about a 2 1/2 hr wait, due to some technicial difficulties, we only managed to see some annoying short animations (about 4 times each). Still, it was a good 1st Christmas with many nice things from Santa and a fun late night with Kenneth. Jon, Mom, and I lasted until about 2:00AM with Kenneth before we headed to bed that night. Campbell Christmas was nice as well, and it was added to by the fact that Grandma and Grandpa Reynolds were able to fly up from California to spend a few days with us. After our Christmas, we all drove back to Oak Harbor for the weekend. We had delicious food, played more games, and went to a dreary beach and went for a muddy walk before everyone went their seperate ways on the 30th. Merry Christmas!
