Yea for birthday!  As per usual, this one had several
parts to it.  Part 1: Kenneth and Andy came up for the weekend!  We kind of inundated them with games that weekend :) I think Kenenth learned 5 new games in the space of 2 days?  Sunday, the four of us and several of our friends got together and caravaned around the Skagit Valley, where the annual Festival of Farms was taking place! So fun.  We also met up with Terry, Julie, and Katelyn for an early birthday lunch in Mt. Vernon, came back and played more games with everyone.  Monday we went apple picking, enough to make quarts and quarts of applesauce, as well as 2 gallons size bags of dehydrated apple chips.  Part 2: Shopping!  Mom sent me a bunch of gift cards, so shopping we went!  Free coffee at Whidbey Coffee, Jamba Juice, new running gear, and groceries and dinner at the Co-Op.  We also saw a cool Indie film at an old historic theater there.  Part 3: Actual birthday! Jon made me dinner (lemon pea roasted pepper risotto) and we used our fine china for the first time! It's so pretty!
