The planning was a bit stressful, but once we got all the food and supplies and were on the road it was great! We had lot of music and stories and bonding and debriefing and general good times. We got there Friday evening and had dinner and story time. Then Sabbath we had some reflection time on Bible verses related to re-entry, and some fun group activities. In the afternoon, the older returned SMs joined the newly returned SMs, which was fun to hear them swap stories. They stayed for dinner, and then that evening we had club elections. I'm super excited, because my first year we had 4 officers, which were elected out of default due to no other options, the second year we had five, again, no competition, but this year we have 7 officers, and a few positions were even contested between a couple people! It'll be great to have a dedicated team moving the campus towards missions. Sunday morning was pretty much pack up and return home. All in all it was a great start to the SM year!
